Afternoon, public and private wine tour prices.
Afternoon public tours can be booked by phone up to 1 hour before pickup. All private tours have different pricing and must be booked 48 hours in advance of start time. Afternoon tours are not private and do not have base prices or a minimum person booking. Children cannot be booked on a non-private tour. Prices are based on adults booked. We have 2 vehicles. The 12 passenger Mercedes Sprinter van can be booked for up to 10 guests. The 8 passenger Mercedes Metris van can be booked for up to 6 guests. All tour prices are for 4 hour afternoon tours with pickup by 1:30 PM. To have a private tour with a 11 am pickup (lunch stop at your own expense) add $100 to total price (phone to book)

All guests on the tour must agree to the terms as follows:
Cancellation Fee for afternoon public tours, 3% if cancelled more than 1 week before the start, 100% cancellation fee if the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the start. Your reservation assumes release of the operator from liability or any assumption of claims, risks and indemnity.
Cancellation Fee for private tours, afternoon tours booked as a private event, or public tour bookings of more than 7 guests: 3% if cancelled more than 1 week before the start, 25% cancellation fee if the cancellation is made less than 1 week before the start, 50% cancellation fee if the cancellation is made less than 4 days before the start, and 100% cancellation fee if the cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the start. Your reservation assumes release of the operator from liability and any assumption of claims, risks, and indemnity.
Changes. You may change the booking up to 7 days before the booked time. You will receive a confirmation email with a reference number and a link to your account to make changes.
Pickup information. We pick up from Kelowna or West Kelowna hotels, B&B or residences. We will not pickup from remote areas. The operator may cancel your tour if the provided pickup location is outside of the pickup area or not provided. Call to confirm pickup location if in doubt.
Waiver of Liability This agreement releases the operator from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during this wine tour. By accepting this agreement, I agree to hold the operator entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence. I also acknowledge the risks involved in participating in a wine tour. These include but are not limited to transportation, wine tasting and other tour activities. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity. By accepting below I forfeit all right to bring a suit against the operator for any reason on behalf of myself (the card holder) or any other party included in this purchase. In return, I will receive a wine tour. I will also make every effort to obey safety precautions as listed in writing and as explained to me verbally. I will ask for clarification when needed.
Code of Conduct: All wine tour guests are expected to conduct themselves with consideration to those around them, this includes bringing paraphernalia or wearing clothing that could be considered offensive to others. Excessive intoxication or use of foul language is not acceptable. Consuming additional alcohol between scheduled tastings is not permitted. You are expected to exercise appropriate behaviour. The operator reserves the right to dismiss anyone from the tour who does not conduct themselves in a respectful manner, adhering to this code of conduct. Guests intoxicated at the time of pickup will be refused entry and refund
Red Dog Wine Tours – Alcohol Service and Safety Policy
At Red Dog Wine Tours, we prioritize your safety and enjoyment. While our drivers are not Serving It Right (SIR)-certified, we follow SIR guidelines and BC liquor laws to ensure a responsible experience during our tours. Here’s how we keep you safe:
- Safe Transportation with Designated Drivers: For guests using a designated driver on or after the tour, we adhere to SIR guidelines. We do not drop off guests at locations where they may drive unless a designated driver is confirmed. A designated driver must stay under the legal blood alcohol limit (0.08% BAC), considering factors like body size, sample intake during our 4-hour tours, and post-tour time. If you plan on visiting another establishment like a restaurant after the tour, we may recommend alternative transport home (e.g., a taxi) if needed.
- Hotel Drop-Offs: Guests dropped off at their hotel are considered “home” and assumed not to drive. In these cases, they may enjoy the tour fully, even if intoxicated, without intervention, as we trust they are safely at their accommodation.
- Responsible Oversight: Our guides supervise groups to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, coordinating with wineries to manage tastings (to a maximum of 5 oz per winery) and encouraging pacing, hydration, and pre-tour meals.
- Legal Compliance: Wineries serving may ask to verify all guests are 19+ with ID checks or our driver will ask at tour start and maintain records (e.g., designated driver confirmations) to comply with provincial regulations.
