Where do you pick up from?
Red Dog Wine Tours provides pickup and drop-off from hotels, B&Bs, vacation rentals, Airbnb/VRBO properties and private residences throughout our designated Kelowna and West Kelowna service area. You don’t need to drive to a central meeting point or arrange your own transportation to the wineries.
When you book, provide the complete address of your accommodation. We’ll confirm the pickup location and give you your approximate pickup time before the tour.

You can check our Red Dog pickup boundary map. Search for your hotel, vacation rental or address on the map to see whether it falls within our shaded pickup area.
What types of accommodation can we pick up from?
- Hotels — We pick up from hotels throughout our service area.
- B&Bs and guesthouses — Smaller accommodations are also included when they are within our pickup boundaries.
- Vacation rentals — We can pick up from many Airbnb, VRBO and other vacation rental properties. Provide the complete address when booking so we can confirm the location.
- Private residences — If you’re staying with friends or family, we can generally pick you up from the residence if it is within our service area.
What time will we be picked up?
Our standard afternoon wine tours generally begin with pickups between 1:00 and 1:30 PM. Your exact pickup time depends on where you are staying and the other pickups on your tour.
Because public tours can include several guest pickups, not everyone will have the same pickup time. We organize the route to keep the overall driving as efficient as possible while getting everyone to the wineries on time.

Does my pickup location affect the length of the tour?
It can. Your total time from pickup to drop-off depends partly on where you are staying and how many other guests are being picked up. A public tour with several accommodation pickups can take longer overall than a private tour with a single pickup location.
Our standard public afternoon tours generally take about 4–5 hours from pickup to drop-off.

Why do we provide accommodation pickup?
Wine touring is much easier when nobody in your group has to worry about driving. Your Red Dog guide handles the transportation between your accommodation and the wineries, allowing everyone to enjoy the afternoon together.
You also don’t have to worry about navigating unfamiliar roads, finding parking at multiple wineries or deciding who will be the designated driver.
We also provide secure storage for wine purchases in the vehicle, so you can buy wine during the afternoon without having to carry your bottles from one winery to the next.
What if my accommodation is near the pickup boundary?
If you’re close to the edge of our service area or aren’t sure whether we can pick you up, provide the address when booking or contact us before booking. We’ll let you know whether the location can be accommodated.

We pick you up where you’re staying. If your hotel, B&B, vacation rental or residence is within our Kelowna and West Kelowna service area, you can start and finish your wine tour without arranging your own transportation to the wineries.
