Does Kelowna get snow?

When visiting Kelowna during the winter months of December, January, and February, it is possible to experience some snowfall. Although the amount of snowfall can vary each year, on average, Kelowna sees around 2.6 inches of snow in December, with the possibility of up to 1-2 inches of snow during your visit in February. While the snow is not always heavy, it is best to be prepared for the possibility of snow and to pack accordingly.

It is worth noting that the record amount of snow recorded in Kelowna was 24.4 inches, which fell in a single month. This was an unusual occurrence and should not be expected every winter. The snowiest month on average is December, but it can also snow in January and February.

It is best to check the weather forecast before your trip, and to be prepared for colder temperatures and possibly snowy conditions if visiting during the winter months.
