Do Okanagan wineries produce organic wines?

There are a growing number of Organically certified and Biodymanically certified wineries in the Okanagan.  These wines are healthier for consumers and better for the environment.  Organic wines are produced with organically grown grapes. To be organically certified a vineyard manager must use a set of practices to maintain their vines. Wines made from certified organic grapes can include added sulfites. Biodynamic wines are farmed biodynamically and do not make common manipulations like yeast additions and acidity adjustments.  Summerhill Pyramid Winery is a prominent player in the shift to growing organic wines.
